Falcon News

Falcon News is Pride Elementary School's daily news program. Our team is made up of fifth grade students who must fill out job applications and interview for the position. Students cycle through jobs including anchor, director, camera, video editor and puppeteer.

Falcon News reports daily lunch menus, student birthday, and school wide announcements. We feature students of all grade levels through teacher "shout outs" and special reports.

The news team visits WFIE in order to gain an understanding of how a news station and it's employees function and get a deeper understandingof the the careers related to broadcast news.
