Welcome!

       My name is Heather Smith and this is my eleventh year teaching.  I am very excited to be at West Hopkins this year!  I previously taught at Southside Elementary.  I am very excited about working with you and your child this year!  I want to help you foster a love for learning in your child.  I believe the partnership between families and school is very important in the success of students.  We will have a lot of fun this year!  Your child will bring home a weekly newsletter with information about what they are learning and important dates.
