    Welcome to the Bear Family!

I am incredibly honored and excited to be the Principal here at Browning Springs Middle School. The 2023-2024 school year marks my 13th year in education, all of which have been in Hopkins County. I began my career as an elementary teacher at West Broadway Elementary School and was then blessed with the opportunity to serve our students at The Springs as the Assistant Principal. I am excited to begin my fourth year here at BSMS.

I have a passion for education and growing our students. I have a strong commitment to helping students achieve success and be the best version of themselves that they can be. I am humbled to work with the best teachers I could ever ask for. Their creativity, motivation, and positivity inspire me just as they inspire our students. I look forward to creating an atmosphere that fosters success for our students, as well as building relationships with families and community members.

I earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Murray State University, a Masters of Teacher Leadership from Murray State University, and a Rank I in Administration from Murray State University.

I was born and raised in Hopkins County. My husband Justin and I have two teenagers, Hunter and Hayden, a Boston Terrier named Annie and Labrador Retriever named Buster. And surprise! We are expecting a baby boy in December. We love to spend our time outside, whether we are camping, swimming, riding or playing whiffle ball. I also enjoy exercising, baking, watching and quoting movies, and painting with Bob Ross videos.

Our theme this year is "Destination Learning." We are focusing on effective, engaging and meaningful instruction, and hold our students, staff and families to high standards of academic success! After all, our school has a TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE in all that we do. We have much to accomplish this school year, but I am confident that with staff, students, and families working together, that we can achieve anything!
