Growing up in Owensboro, I was extremely active with the FFA and 4H, later serving as a Kentucky FFA State Officer. I later graduated from the University of Kentucky in the spring of 2015, majoring in Agriculture Education with a minor in Animal Science. I completed the first portion of my student teaching here at Madisonville North Hopkins High School. I completed the second portion of my student teaching at a boarding school in Australia.

I have had countless opportunities to work with and learn about the influence of agriculture. From learning about agriculture stock markets in Chicago to working on a sheep farm in Australia, each opportunity has helped define the importance of this vital industry. Together we will take a glimpse at how this industry keeps the world turning as we study modern agriculture. I hope you are as excited as I am for these endless opportunities.
