In this AP US History class, students will learn to think of historical events, dates, and people in combination with each other in order to create a narrative and to understand why things happened the way they did and how they happened. The ultimate goal of this course is for the student to pass the AP US History exam in May and achieve a score that allows them to receive college credit for the class. To accomplish the goals of the course and to meet the standards of the AP College Board, this course is rigorous and requires much work outside of the classroom on the part of the student. However, it will also be enjoyable and valuable to the students!
