Online Registration Starts July 29

Hopkins County Schools is implementing an online registration process.OLR - Hopkins County Schools Online Registration

Registration/enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year will start on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. (This is a change from a previously announced start date.) All students must go through this registration process. Anyone who wants their children to use the Remote Learning Program is asked to please register by Friday, Aug. 7.

Registration can be completed through Infinite Campus Parent Portal accounts using computers or smart phones. We encourage as many parents as possible to register/enroll using the new online registration process. If you do not have a Parent Portal account, you may visit the district website for instructions on how to create an account. 

Our schools will also have kiosks available so parents can complete registration/enrollment in person; however, each school has set its own schedule and some require advance appointments. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks will be required. Only one person from each family should go to the school to complete this process.  Students do not need to attend with parents since schedules and lockers will not be assigned at this time. The process will take 20-30 minutes to complete.

The school schedules are posted below and at www.hopkins.kyschools.us/OnlineRegistration. Anyone who needs to register at a school kiosk after Aug. 7 should call your school to make an appointment to do so.

Returning Students: Please log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal to register your student(s). Anyone who already has children in the district may also register an incoming kindergartner using this process. Parents who do not already have a Parent Portal account should go to the district website and submit a Parent Portal Agreement. The following documentation may be needed:

  • Proof of residency (only if you have moved since last school year)
  • Immunization records (if they have been updated)
  • Physical Forms for entering 6th-graders

New Students: Families that are new to the district should call their school to get the enrollment process started. The following documentation may be needed for new students:

  • Proof of residency (utility bill, driver’s license, lease agreement/deed, etc.)
  • Child’s birth certificate or other valid proof of identity
  • Relevant legal documents, such as custody agreements, protective orders, name changes, etc.
  • Social Security card (not required)
  • Transcript or report card for transfer students
  • Health documentation such as care plans from doctors
  • Immunization records*
  • Eye Exams*
  • Dental Exams*
  • Physical Forms*

  • 6th-grade: Wednesday, July 29, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (last name A-M); Thursday, July 30, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (last name N-Z) and 4-6 p.m.
  • 7th-grade: Monday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (last name A-M); Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (last name N-Z) and 4-6 p.m.
