Tornado Relief Hub Opens at Earlington School

Earlington Elementary School is now a central location providing needed tornado relief supplies to anyone who needs help.

Donated materials will be distributed from several locations across Hopkins County. Those who need supplies may visit one of the following pickup locations:

  • Earlington Elementary School (6 a.m. – 6 p.m.) – 1967 Championship Drive, Earlington
  • St. Charles City Hall (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.) – 211 Railroad Street, St. Charles
  • Mortons Gap Christian Church (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.) – 117 Mortons Gap Road, Mortons Gap
  • Nebo Community Center (10 a.m. – 8 p.m.) – 100 South Bernard Street, Nebo
  • The River Church (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) – 1580 Nortonville Road, Nortonville
  • Richland Baptist Church (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) – 7035 Beulah Road, Madisonville

West Hopkins School is also serving as a donation point and a site where residents may pick up needed supplies.

Donations are no longer being accepted at EES. Please take donated items to the former Staples store at 98 Madison Square Drive, Madisonville. Organizers request that no clothing be donated at this time. Specific items that are needed include the following:

  • Laundry detergent
  • Paper plates, plastic cutlery, and plastic/Styrofoam cups
  • Trash bags
  • Baby food
  • Baby formula
  • Denture cleaner/adhesive
  • Disposable razors
  • Hygiene products for men
  • Eye contact solution
  • Pillows
  • New packaged underwear and panties (all sizes)
  • Children’s Tylenol, Mylicon/gas drops
  • Thermometers
  • Nail clippers
  • Cotton swabs/Q-Tips
  • Instant coffee
  • Charcoal
  • Lighter fluid
  • Little grills
  • Little coolers and Styrofoam coolers
  • African-American hair bonnets, beads, and barrettes
  • Cellphone chargers
