Meal Pickup, Delivery Updates

The district will operate under #HCSatHome (NTI) from Monday, Nov. 9, until at least Monday, Nov. 30. The following information is valid during those weeks:

During #HCSatHome, meal pickup at schools and delivery to community stops will occur daily from Monday through Friday, with one breakfast and lunch available per day. When picking up at schools, parents also have the option of picking up meals for all five days at one time on Wednesdays. Meals may be picked up at any school from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Evening pickup will be available only on Wednesdays from 2-5:30 p.m. at Earlington Elementary, Grapevine Elementary, Hanson Elementary, Madisonville North Hopkins, and West Hopkins. Meals may be picked up at any available school location, even if your child doesn’t attend that school. Delivery sites are listed below.

 

With the start of in-person classes on Sept. 14, our meal pickup and delivery plan will look different. We want to keep parents and guardians informed about how the program will operate. While we will continue to offer meal pickup at school sites, we will be returning to using community stops for delivery.

Hybrid Group A (last name A-K): These students will receive in-person meals at school on Mondays and Tuesdays. On Wednesdays, they may pick up three breakfasts and three lunches at a school site or receive one breakfast and one lunch at a community stop location.

Hybrid Group B (last name L-Z): On Wednesdays, these students may pick up three breakfasts and three lunches at a school site or receive one breakfast and one lunch at a community stop location. They will receive in-person meals at school on Thursdays and Fridays.

Remote Learning Students: On Wednesdays, these students may pick up five breakfasts and five lunches at a school site or receive one breakfast and one lunch at a community stop location.

Meals may be picked up at any school from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Evening pickup hours are now set for 2-5:30 p.m., and meals may be picked up during those times at Earlington Elementary, Grapevine Elementary, Hanson Elementary, Madisonville North Hopkins, and West Hopkins. Meals may be picked up at any available school location, even if your child doesn’t attend that school. Any child under the age of 18 may pick up meals.

#HCSatHome: The meal program will operate differently during #HCSatHome, when in-person classes are not in session due to weather-related events, sudden COVID-19 related closures, etc. This includes the two weeks following fall break, which are already scheduled as #HCSatHome. During this time, meal pickup and delivery will occur daily from Monday through Friday, with one breakfast and lunch available per day.
