Class of 2006

1996 Hopkins County Central Boys Golf Team

The 1996 Storm Golf Team combined players from South Hopkins and West Hopkins.  They were the first Central sports team to compete against Madisonville-North Hopkins, winning that match-up.  From there, they went on to win 17 straight matches and finishing the season with a 20-2 record.  They won the Muhlenberg North Invitational and finished second in the Dawson Springs Invitational where Adrian Baldwin placed first overall.  Their only losses were to Henderson County and Daviess County, two of the strongest teams in the state.  The only disappointment of the season came when the team placed third in the Region, failing to qualify for the State competition.  However, Brian Crowe did qualify for the State Tournament and finished in the top 20.
