Kentucky Safe Schools Week starts today!

The Kentucky Center for School Safety has announced that this year’s theme is “Strong Roots. Safe Schools.” The theme highlights the need for ongoing vigilance and proactive steps to keep learning environments secure across the Commonwealth.

This week focuses on helping schools strengthen their safety initiatives through targeted activities and discussions. The goal is to raise awareness of various aspects of school safety and empower students, teachers, parents, guardians, and the wider community to take proactive steps to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for everyone.
