'Great Futures Start Here' Recognition

We want to celebrate Hopkins County Schools staff members who embody “Great Futures Start Here.” These individuals go above and beyond to create opportunity, inspire greatness, and remove barriers so all students and staff can thrive.

Nominees should demonstrate excellence in one or more of the following areas:

1. Student-Centered Impact

  • Prioritizes student success, well-being, and growth;
  • Builds strong, trusting relationships with students;
  • Creates a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

2. Innovation & Creativity

  • Develops or implements creative solutions to challenges;
  • Uses new strategies or tools to improve instruction, operations, or climate;
  • Encourages curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning.

3. Leadership & Collaboration

  • Leads by example with integrity and positivity;
  • Supports team success through collaboration and encouragement;
  • Fosters a culture of respect, unity, and shared purpose.

4. Equity & Inclusion

  • Ensures all students and staff feel seen, heard, and valued;
  • Promotes access and opportunities for all, regardless of background or ability.

5. Service & Dedication

  • Goes above and beyond their responsibilities;
  • Demonstrates reliability, passion, and commitment to the mission;
  • Models professionalism and care in all they do.

6. Family & Community Engagement

  • Builds bridges between school, home, and the community;
  • Engages families and partners as active participants in student success;
  • Strengthens school-community relationships.

7. “Opportunity Creator, Not a Barrier Builder” Mindset

  • Approaches every challenge with a solutions-first attitude;

Selection & Recognition

Honorees will be recognized publicly at an upcoming Hopkins County Board of Education meeting. Nominations may be submitted by staff, students, families, or community members.
