This is my 20th year as a teacher in Hopkins County- I started my teaching career in the classroom at Hanson Elementary School before beginning my journey with Hopkins County Schools Elementary Gifted and Talented Services. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Elementary Education with a Gifted and Talented endorsement from Murray State University and achieved my Rank 1 through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy: Reading-Language Arts.
I am excited to continue serving the children of Hopkins County and nurturing their diverse gifts and talents.
Elementary GT Resource services are provided district-wide in addition to services provided by classroom teachers and local schools; resource services are limited and not intended to be the sole service option for meeting the needs of identified students.
